Entrepreneur and investor Iman Gadzhi announced investments in Higgsfield, a company developing artificial intelligence tools for creating video and other visual content. The startup, with a team in Almaty, is valued at $5.4 billion.
Iman Gadzhi invested in the company earlier in 2026, but did not disclose this information until October. Now, the entrepreneur will also serve as an advisor to Higgsfield.
Higgsfield was founded in 2023 by Alex Mashrabov, former head of generative AI at Snap, Erzhat Dulat, who serves as chief technology officer, and Mahi De Silva, director of strategy.
The company’s headquarters is located in San Francisco, while its engineering team and content production specialists also work in Almaty.
According to the company, after launching its product in March 2025, Higgsfield achieved an annualized revenue run rate of over $1 billion in less than a year and a half. The platform is used by more than 30 million people across 238 countries and territories. The company’s tools are also used by 390 Fortune 500 companies to create visual content.
In the latest Series B funding round, Higgsfield raised $400 million at a valuation of $5.4 billion. Among the company’s investors are DST Global, Goldman Sachs Asset Management, and Intel Capital.
Iman Gadzhi explained his decision to invest in the startup based on his personal experience in the content creation industry. His first business was a media company that produced materials for clients with limited resources.
Higgsfield’s tools enable small teams and individual content creators to perform tasks that previously required entire departments of specialists, studios, and significant budgets.
The public announcement of the partnership began with the publication of materials filmed at Higgsfield’s office in Almaty. Both parties also plan further joint initiatives.
