GIGABYTE has introduced an updated gaming laptop, the GX6, this year. The device is equipped with powerful hardware, a gaming monitor, and can handle any modern game at maximum settings. However, the main feature of the GX6 is its attractive price.

Balancing Power and Price

The GIGABYTE GX6 is equipped with an excellent near-flagship Intel Core i7-13650HX processor featuring a hybrid architecture, 14 cores capable of processing 20 threads, as well as Hyper-Threading and Intel Turbo Boost Max 3.0 technologies. The processor is built using an advanced 10-nm FinFET process, allowing it to deliver higher clock speeds compared to the previous 14-nm process.

A modern, high-performance NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card with 8 GB of GDDR6 video memory ensures smooth gameplay. While this is not the most powerful GPU in the lineup, it handles even the most demanding games and video editing tasks excellently.

Users can choose a model with 16, 32, or 64 GB of RAM. Regarding internal storage, buyers can choose between a 512 GB or 1 TB M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe Gen 4.0 x4 solid-state drive. There is also the option to expand internal storage by installing an additional drive.

Beautiful Display and Sleek Design

The Gigabyte G6X features a 16-inch IPS gaming display with FHD 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and a 170^o viewing angle. Its main advantage, however, is the pleasant 165 Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the display does not use PWM for brightness adjustment, meaning less eye strain. The screen surface has an anti-glare coating.

The GIGABYTE GX6 boasts a strict and attractive design with a beautiful matte Gunmetal Grey finish. The build combines metal and plastic, with the lid made of aluminum.

Convenience in Work and Gaming

The Gigabyte G6X 9KG is equipped with a comfortable full-size keyboard featuring a numeric keypad and static backlighting. A row of function keys with additional capabilities is located at the top, activated using the Fn key. The keys are large, measuring 15x15 mm, with a pleasant key travel depth of 1.5 mm. The laptop also features a large and convenient touchpad.

The G6X laptop is equipped with the WINDFORCE cooling system, consisting of two powerful fans, five heat pipes, four radiators with ultra-thin 0.15 mm fins, and 3D VortX air channels that ensure good air circulation.

The G6X is powered by a 73 Wh lithium-ion battery. It provides seven to eight hours of battery life in light usage modes and one and a half to two hours of serious gaming.
