Khan Tengri Innovation Hub is launching a series of online pitching sessions for startups from Central Eurasia to present to venture capital investors in Hong Kong and mainland China. This is not just another webinar or product demo — it is an entry point into one of the most capital-intensive and dynamic ecosystems in the world.
In December and January, Khan Tengri Innovation Hub, together with partner venture funds, plans to conduct online pitching sessions for selected startups. You can apply via this link.
Why we are launching online pitching with Hong Kong and mainland China funds
One of the key missions of Khan Tengri Innovation Hub is to raise awareness within the Central Eurasian startup community about scaling opportunities in China and to provide practical tools for market entry, rather than limiting ourselves to theory.
Objectives of the online pitching:
— Direct access to capital. We are inviting funds and investors who not only operate out of Hong Kong and mainland China but also actively invest in the GBA region. Hong Kong is one of the world’s largest financial centers, with a strong concentration of banks, funds, family offices, and private capital. For a startup, this is a chance to reach investors who are difficult to access independently.
— Critical feedback from Chinese and Hong Kong investors. Even if a deal is not closed in the first stage, founders gain an understanding of how ready their product is for the Chinese market and which elements need refinement — from product-market fit to unit economics.
— A clearer understanding of the “Chinese filter.” Feedback from investors in Hong Kong and mainland China helps clarify how your product is perceived in terms of scalability in the Chinese market, how adaptable your monetization and pricing models are to local realities, and what requirements are imposed on the team, deal structure, IP, and legal framework.
— Networking and partnerships. Many deals in Asia begin not with a “check,” but with a pilot, joint project, or strategic partnership. The online pitching serves as a platform where such contacts are made.
— Preparation for offline scaling. For many teams, this will be the first step toward participating in acceleration programs and business missions organized by Khan Tengri Innovation Hub and partners — Hong Kong tech parks such as HKSTP, Cyberport, and HSITP — as well as entering the Greater Bay Area and attending specialized events in Shanghai, Hong Kong, and other cities in China.

Participation procedure:
- Startups submit applications through this form.
- The Khan Tengri Innovation Hub team, together with venture funds from Hong Kong and mainland China, conducts a preliminary selection based on materials — pitch deck, brief business description, stage, and plans for entering the Chinese market.
- Selected startups are invited to online pitching sessions, scheduled as a series of events in December 2025 and January 2026. Each team is given time for a presentation and a Q&A block with investors.
- Following the sessions, the best projects may attract interest from funds, receive invitations for deeper dialogue, pilot projects, or participation in acceleration programs in Hong Kong and mainland China.
What startups should do right now
If you are a founder or a team from Central Eurasia considering scaling into China, we offer a simple algorithm:
- Evaluate how relevant your product is to Hong Kong, the GBA, or mainland China. B2B solutions, FinTech, AI, healthcare, logistics, green technologies, robotics, and industrial IT solutions are the most promising sectors.
- Prepare a concise and focused pitch deck. Clearly answer the questions: what market need are you addressing, what is your competitiveness, and why are you interesting specifically to Chinese and Hong Kong partners.
- Apply for the online pitching via this link. Stay updated on our website and on our Instagram channels: @Khan_tengri_hub, @growthvisionpro.
- Use investor feedback as a “roadmap” for adapting to the Chinese market. Even if funding does not come in the first round, you will receive clear directions on where to move next.
We invite startup teams from Central Eurasian countries — Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and other countries in the region — to apply and test their readiness for global scaling into China and expansion into the GBA through Hong Kong.
It is important to us that this article on The Tech not only informs but also motivates startups in the region to apply for the pitching and take advantage of the opportunity window that is currently opening up through Hong Kong and mainland China.
