Former Deputy Minister of AI Dmitry Mun has been appointed CEO of Q.AI

At a strategic seminar on artificial intelligence, the launch of Q.AI — a joint venture between Kazakhstan and 01.AI — was announced. The new entity will focus on developing large language models, AI agents, corporate AI platforms, and other solutions for the digital transformation of the public sector and business.

Dmitry Mun, previously serving as the Vice Minister of Artificial Intelligence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, has taken on the role of CEO of Q.AI.

The launch of Q.AI will mark a significant milestone in building a national AI ecosystem, strengthening engineering capabilities, and implementing advanced artificial intelligence technologies in Kazakhstan.
