Bilim Group and OpenAI discussed the prospects of implementing artificial intelligence in Kazakhstan's education system.
The visit to Kazakhstan by representatives of OpenAI, one of the world's leading companies in the field of artificial intelligence, continues. As part of the national project on implementing AI in education, the OpenAI delegation met with the Bilim Group team, which serves as the technological partner of the initiative.
During negotiations, OpenAI and Bilim Group discussed new areas of cooperation. The Kazakh company is already a technological partner for the ChatGPT Edu project in Kazakhstan, but the current discussions are about becoming an official regional partner of OpenAI.
Alexander Savchenko, CEO of Bilim Group
We see great potential in joint work, particularly in integrating Kazakh educational platforms with OpenAI solutions. This approach will allow us to create world-class local services and initiate international cases of AI implementation in education. This work will help form a full-fledged ecosystem of competencies in artificial intelligence in Kazakhstan. In the future, we plan to expand our cooperation with OpenAI beyond the educational sector — as a B2B partner in developing AI competencies and upskilling specialists in various sectors of the economy.
It is important to note that Kazakhstan was among the first six countries selected by OpenAI to implement the ChatGPT Edu educational initiative. Thanks to the project, educators gain access to the best AI tools for teaching, research, and creating educational programs.
According to OpenAI, Kazakhstan is among countries with a high level of artificial intelligence usage. At the same time, the most active users of ChatGPT are young people aged 18 to 34. Most often, Kazakhstani citizens use AI to search for information, receive practical advice, write, and edit texts.
Against the backdrop of such interest in the capabilities of artificial intelligence, national educational solutions based on advanced OpenAI technologies have become particularly relevant. According to representative of the company Carlotta Reviglio, the successful implementation of such initiatives is impossible without strong local partners capable of adapting international solutions to the specifics of the education system.

It is a great honor for us to participate in such a large-scale project. Our goal is to ensure access to ChatGPT tools for all specialists — from preschool educators to university professors and researchers. Our technologies will be useful in teaching, scientific research, curriculum development, and the educational process as a whole. Bilim Group plays an important role in this work by transferring knowledge and practical experience in the field of artificial intelligence to educators in Kazakhstan.
The position of the foreign partner is supported by representative of Bilim Group and CEO of Silkroad Innovation Hub, Asat Abdualiev.

Bilim Group plays a key role in this process as a local integrator and project partner. International technology companies need organizations that understand the specifics of the market well and know how to adapt global solutions to local conditions. The company has already proven its effectiveness in implementing large international educational projects, including in cooperation with Coursera.
During the visit, the OpenAI delegation also met with representatives of the education sector in Kazakhstan, conducting a series of workshops and practical sessions dedicated to the application of AI in the educational process.
Recall that the OpenAI visit is taking place as part of the national project on implementing artificial intelligence in education in Kazakhstan. Under the terms of the initiative, 165,000 educators gain access to ChatGPT Edu — a version of ChatGPT developed specifically for educational institutions.
The technological partner of the project is the IT holding Bilim Group. The company is engaged in integrating OpenAI solutions into the education system and participates in developing methodology for the use of artificial intelligence in schools, colleges, and universities in the country. The OpenAI visit to Kazakhstan was organized by the Bilim UpSkill project, which is part of the Bilim Group ecosystem.
