Baku will host the II World Artificial Intelligence Week of the USA
During the first economic dialogue between Azerbaijan and the EU, held in Baku, it was announced that the capital of Azerbaijan will host the II US World Artificial Intelligence Week.
According to the report, the event is organized by the Economic Department of Azerbaijan in cooperation with the US State Department as part of the ongoing cooperation strategy between the two countries.
The dialogue was attended by Economic Officer Mikail Jabbarov and US Deputy Secretary of State for Economic, Energy, and Business Affairs Caleb Orrun. During the meeting, protocols were signed concerning infrastructure development, technology transfer, and the implementation of international experience in Azerbaijan.
The discussions within the framework of the economic dialogue covered topics such as regional connectivity, trade and transit, energy security, investments, infrastructure, artificial intelligence, and renewable energy.
During the first session, participants discussed the development of the "Boryatagi" TRIPP market as a tool for international cooperation, the expansion of logistics facilities, improvement of the business environment for investors, and strengthening Azerbaijan's ties with Europe and Central Asia, which opens up new opportunities for EU companies.
In the energy sector, issues related to the expansion of gas infrastructure, electrical connections, diversification of supply chains, and the consolidation of critical mineral resources were reviewed.
On the investment panel, mutual projects in logistics, energy, and technology were discussed. Special emphasis was placed on the Economic Zone, free from Ect, which provides innovative mechanisms, benefits, and a favorable legal regime for investors — a key interest of the EU in the region.
Additionally, high-tech US companies presented plans for establishing data centers and implementing artificial intelligence technologies. Ways to expand economic benefits, stimulate mutual investments, and support innovative projects were discussed.
Within the framework of the dialogue, issues of interaction between business structures of both countries, cooperation of the private sector, and the formation of new partnership communities were also raised.
