Azerbaijani language is now available on the Google Gemini platform
The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan, in collaboration with Google, announced the launch of the Gemini artificial intelligence platform in the Azerbaijani language.
Azerbaijani has become one of 23 new languages selected for the strategic expansion of the platform. This will enable users to work with AI tools in their native language alongside major global languages.
The localized interface is already available on the web version, full support for Android and iOS mobile devices is provided, and the Gemini Live feature for real-time interactive dialogue also works in Azerbaijani.
Additionally, users now have access to new creative tools, Nano Banana and Veo. Nano Banana allows users to create high-quality images based on text prompts and edit existing images, while Veo generates high-quality video with synchronized sound, accurately following complex instructions.
To support educational and productive work, three features have also been launched in Azerbaijani:
Canvas — a workspace for coding and writing, enabling collaboration with Gemini on complex projects.
Deep Research — analysis and synthesis of information from various sources to generate detailed reports.
Guided Learning — a personalized learning mode with interactive tests and explanations.
The launch of Gemini in Azerbaijani opens up new opportunities for learning, creativity, and working with artificial intelligence in the country.
