An Azerbaijani has become a finalist of EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2026

Babek Ismail has made it to the finals of the prestigious EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2026 award in the UK. The entrepreneur advanced to the London stage of the competition, where 90 founders from various industries — from FinTech to technology and FMCG — will compete for a spot in the national finals.

His company, OneDome, caught the jury's attention due to its rapid growth: since 2022, the platform's revenue has increased by 15,500%, while the business remains profitable. Today, the platform processes mortgage transactions worth approximately £1.4 billion monthly and collaborates with over 500 brokers across the UK.

OneDome is developing a digital platform for real estate purchases, integrating property search, mortgages, legal services, insurance, and financial planning into a single ecosystem. According to Deloitte Fast 50, the company has been recognized as one of the fastest-growing FinTech companies in the UK, and in the Sunday Times Tech 100 ranking, it placed sixth in terms of growth rate among the country's technology companies.

The winner of the UK stage of EY Entrepreneur Of The Year will be announced in November 2026 and will represent the UK at the global finals of the competition in 2027.
