Azerbaijan and TikTok discussed cooperation within the framework of the country's digital transformation

Azerbaijan continues to build partnerships with global technology platforms as part of its national digital strategy.

A meeting with representatives of the TikTok platform took place at the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. Deputy Minister Rashad Gasanov discussed with company representatives the possibilities of cooperation in the field of digital development, including TikTok's potential participation in the implementation of the Action Plan for Accelerating Digital Development in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026-2028.

The parties exchanged views on enhancing digital literacy, implementing joint educational projects, and promoting local digital startups. Changes in legislation concerning children's access to social media platforms were also discussed separately.

The importance of further cooperation in shaping a safe digital environment and supporting the country's innovative ecosystem was also emphasized at the meeting.

Azerbaijan is building dialogue with major platforms not only in the business sphere, but also in matters of security and education, forming a comprehensive approach to digital development.
