Aurora Tech Award 2025 and Women in Business: Opportunities for Women in IT for November 2025

Digital Women in Focus
A free seven-week educational program for women from Uzbekistan who wish to advance their careers in IT. Participants will learn from mentors with international experience, acquire practical skills necessary for employment, learn how to create portfolios and resumes, and build new professional connections. At the end of the course, the five most motivated participants will receive certificates and recommendations to support their further career development. You can apply here.

Panel Session “Live, Learn, Create: Energy, Leadership, and AI”
A meeting between students and representatives from Women in Tech Kazakhstan and GDG in the format of the panel session “Live, Learn, Create: Energy, Leadership, and AI.” The event will focus on developing leadership and entrepreneurial skills among students, finding a balance between studies, work, and personal projects, as well as exploring the role of AI in modern life. Speakers will include Laura Salam, Asel Marchenko, and Tanya Plotnikova, who will share their experiences in career growth, leadership, and implementing innovations in IT.

Aurora Tech Award 2025
An annual international award for female founders of IT startups with a prize pool of $100,000. Participants can be Kazakhstani and other female entrepreneurs who launched their startup no more than five years ago, have an active MVP, and have not received more than $4 million in investments. Winners will receive $50,000 for first place, $30,000 for second place, and $20,000 for third place.

Women in Tech Global Awards 2025
The eighth ceremony of the global award for women in technology. This landmark event concludes a three-month worldwide tour with regional awards in seven regions—Latin America, North America, Africa, Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and North Africa, as well as the Caucasus and Central Asia.

AI for Her
An online course by Women in Tech Kazakhstan, designed for women who want to master modern AI tools and improve their efficiency in work, business, and daily life. Participants will dive into the basics of AI and LLMs, get familiar with key services such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, DeepSeek, and Grok, and learn how to use AI to create presentations, videos, posts, analyze data, and plan tasks.

EBRD’s Women in Business Program
The program helps female entrepreneurs develop and scale their businesses by combining financial support, expert consultations, and training. Program participants gain access to favorable financing through partner banks, individual business consultations on management, marketing, digitalization, and growth strategy, as well as training programs, workshops, and mentoring from leading experts.
