Astana Hub and zypl will join forces to develop AI-driven startup financing
As part of GITEX AI Kazakhstan 2026, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between Astana Hub and zypl Holding LTD.
The partnership is based on the use of artificial intelligence to transform approaches to evaluating and financing startups. The parties plan to create a digital infrastructure that will simplify access to funding and improve the accuracy of project assessments through AI.
A key area of focus will be the development of a new scoring model for Astana Hub startups. It will consider not only financial indicators but also non-financial factors, including product maturity, team competencies, market dynamics, and intellectual property protection. The solution is based on the zypl AI engine, which enables the analysis of behavioral and market data while reducing the impact of subjectivity.
Another area of focus will be the creation of tools for collecting alternative data, including API integrations and digital connectors. This will allow for an expansion of information about small and medium-sized enterprises, which can then be used by financial institutions in decision-making while complying with data protection requirements.
A practical outcome will be the launch of a digital platform for submitting funding applications. Startups will be able to submit applications, undergo preliminary automated assessment, exchange documents, and receive feedback within a single system.
The collaboration is expected to increase startups' access to funding and make the evaluation process more transparent and technologically advanced, thereby strengthening the development of Kazakhstan's digital economy.
The project is implemented in the context of the Year of Artificial Intelligence in Kazakhstan, highlighting the priority of AI development, including infrastructure, regulation, and human capital.
