Armenia and Eleveight AI have agreed to cooperate in the field of AI

Eleveight AI and the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia have announced the commencement of cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence. A corresponding memorandum of understanding was signed in Gagarin, Gegharkunik Province, where the opening of a next-generation data center based on NVIDIA Blackwell B300 graphics processors also took place.

In the near future, discussions are planned with government bodies and representatives of the tech community, together with Eleveight AI, to determine the areas of use for computing resources in specific tasks within the country.

The state intends to support the development of the artificial intelligence sector by encouraging the participation of startups, research groups, scientists, and tech entrepreneurs in creating AI solutions.

The strategic goal of the government is to transform Armenia into one of the key centers for the development of artificial intelligence. The country must become an "AI factories garden" and transition from the role of a technology consumer to that of a creator, developer, and exporter.

Eleveight AI's artificial intelligence should not only export computing resources but also provide cloud services to local players who require such capacity. Demand for these resources within the country continues to grow. The company must build cooperation with the government and define strategic points of interaction with both the public sector and the tech community.

To implement this strategy, the Institute of Virtual Artificial Intelligence has already been established, which will be responsible for consolidating computing resources and distributing them in the form of industry subsidies.

Particular importance is attached to the development of high-quality speech recognition and synthesis systems in the Armenian language. In the context of rapid technological development, a conceptual framework is needed that will allow planning the directions of cooperation.
