The Agency for Innovation and Digital Development of Azerbaijan, İRİA, will help startups receive support from Microsoft.
The Agency for Innovation and Digital Development of Azerbaijan (İRİA) has joined the Microsoft for Startups Investor Network international program as part of its collaboration with Microsoft. The initiative aims to accelerate the integration of local startups into the global technology ecosystem and support their expansion into international markets.
Startups selected through the program will gain access to Azure cloud credits, Azure AI infrastructure, GitHub Enterprise, LinkedIn, and Visual Studio Enterprise products, as well as 24/7 technical support and consultations with Microsoft engineers. Additionally, participants will receive monthly progress assessments and mentoring support from company representatives.
Technology startups developing innovative products and services are eligible to apply. After registering on the İRİA platform, suitable projects will be issued a referral code to complete official registration on the Microsoft platform. The application period will run until December 1, 2026.
Selection will be conducted monthly in collaboration between İRİA and Microsoft representatives; an average of 40–50 startups are expected to participate in the program over the course of a year. Applications will be evaluated based on the project’s investment potential, product development stage, technological sophistication and scalability, as well as the potential for utilizing Azure and other Microsoft solutions.
