A large-scale Run & Walk Challenge is launching in Central Asia

From October 4 to 24, 2026, the international sports project Run & Walk Challenge will take place, uniting countries in Central Asia. This 21-day digital challenge aims to engage people in an active lifestyle through walking and running. The project's goal is to attract 100,000 participants.

The main idea of the challenge is to combine the thousands of kilometers covered by participants into a single collective result. Every kilometer walked or run becomes part of the overall movement. The project aims to increase regular physical activity, promote a healthy lifestyle, and form beneficial habits over 21 days.

The project's primary geography covers Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan, although participation is open to anyone from anywhere in the world. Participants must be over 16 years old. The project is open to students, young people, company employees, entrepreneurs, bloggers, sports communities, as well as beginner and experienced athletes. Being a professional athlete is not required—anyone with any level of fitness can participate.

The Challenge takes place through the DeepenWell mobile application. Using GPS, the app tracks the route, speed, distance, and other activity metrics. Participants will be able to track their results, participate in rankings, maintain a daily streak, complete various tasks, and invite friends to the challenge. Additionally, 13 runs of 42 km are planned across all regions of Uzbekistan.

Valuable prizes have been prepared for participants. These include a slot for the Dubai Marathon, slots for various marathons in Uzbekistan, six 1Fit subscriptions, treadmills, and other gifts. Furthermore, participants can invite friends using their referral code and have a chance to win an iPhone 18. Weekly nominations and a final prize draw are also scheduled during the challenge.

Separate team leagues will be organized for universities and companies. Kilometers covered by students will be added to their university's overall result, creating an atmosphere of healthy competition between higher education institutions.
