Which global tech giants are already collaborating with Uzbekistan?
Over the past year, Uzbekistan has held negotiations and launched joint initiatives with major technology companies — from NVIDIA and Meta to Huawei and Supermicro. Key areas of cooperation include artificial intelligence, computing infrastructure, data centers, education, and digitalization.
NVIDIA
In April 2026, representatives of NVIDIA and Firebird held talks with IT Park Uzbekistan focused on developing AI infrastructure in the country. The parties discussed the creation of computing power, workforce training, and the integration of artificial intelligence technologies into the economy.
Previously, in November 2025, the Ministry of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan announced cooperation with NVIDIA in the field of AI. As part of the partnership, the creation of a center of excellence was discussed, which is to focus on the development of AI technologies and the training of specialists.
Thus, NVIDIA has become one of the key international partners of Uzbekistan in the development of computing infrastructure and the AI ecosystem.
Meta
Uzbekistan is also developing cooperation with Meta in the fields of artificial intelligence and online education. In April 2025, representatives of the Ministry of Digital Technologies held a meeting with Meta's representative for Central Asia. The parties discussed AI development, Meta's participation in ICTWeek Uzbekistan, and educational initiatives.
In November 2025, Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov met with representatives of Meta in Washington. The meeting discussed the expansion of strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and the United States in the fields of innovation, digital transformation, and IT ecosystem development.
As a result, Meta has become one of the American technology partners with which Uzbekistan is establishing a separate area of cooperation around AI and the digital economy.
Supermicro
Supermicro has become another technology partner of Uzbekistan in the field of infrastructure. In November 2025, company representatives participated in a meeting of Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov with executives of American technology companies in Washington. During the roundtable discussion, opportunities for expanding partnership in the fields of innovation, digital transformation, and the development of Uzbekistan's IT ecosystem were discussed.
Huawei
Huawei cooperates with Uzbekistan across several technological areas. In 2024, the company together with UZTELECOM launched a 5.5G network in test mode in Uzbekistan. The technology was demonstrated at ICT Week Uzbekistan and was intended, among other things, for the development of smart cities and automated production.
In 2026, cooperation continued in the field of artificial intelligence. At the World Artificial Intelligence Conference WAIC 2026, the Uzbek company Sino AI held talks with Huawei on the implementation of AI solutions in digital healthcare.
TusPark
In June 2026, IT Park Uzbekistan held talks with TusPark Jiangsu Innovation Research Institute — one of the major operators of innovation infrastructure in China. The meeting took place within the framework of the Tashkent International Investment Forum.
The parties discussed the development of technological cooperation and opportunities for joint work in the field of innovation infrastructure.
Google is currently at a different level of interaction with Uzbekistan. The company has not signed a separate agreement to launch a project in the country, but its presence is linked to the development of local AI infrastructure.
As part of the construction of the new DataVolt data center in Tashkent, Uzbekistan is creating infrastructure that should attract global cloud providers, including Google. The DataVolt project involves investments of approximately $150 million and a capacity of 12 MW.
Chinese Technology Companies
Uzbekistan is also expanding cooperation with the Chinese technology sector. In July 2025 the Ministry of Energy held talks with Shanghai LinkWise Data Intelligence Co., Ltd. As a result of the meeting, the parties signed a memorandum on the implementation of a data center with a load of 300 MW in the Bukhara region. It is planned to build another facility of similar capacity in the Surkhandarya region in the future.
In July 2026 IT Park Uzbekistan presented national AI solutions at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference in Shanghai. One of the goals of participation was to attract leading international technology companies to Uzbekistan's ecosystem, as well as to find partners, clients, and investors for local AI projects.
