What agreements and memorandums were signed at AI & Digital Bridge 2026

These days, the international technology forum AI & Digital Bridge 2026 is taking place in Astana. The forum has become a platform not only for discussing the prospects of artificial intelligence and digital technologies development in Kazakhstan, but also for reaching practical agreements between government bodies, technology companies, financial organizations, universities, and international partners.

Memorandums and agreements are being signed on the sidelines of the forum in the fields of artificial intelligence, digital assets, digital infrastructure, education, scientific research, venture funding, and startup support. The documents provide for the launch of joint projects, investment attraction, technology and expertise exchange, as well as the development of international cooperation.

The Ministry of Digital Development of Kazakhstan and MultiBank Group signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of digital assets

On the sidelines of AI & Digital Bridge 2026, the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan and MEX Group Worldwide Limited signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of digital assets and distributed ledger technology.

The document was signed by the Deputy Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of the RK Gizat Baitursynov and the Chief Commercial Officer of MultiBank Group Mark Aspinall.

The parties agreed to cooperate in several areas: expert support for government bodies in discussing the regulation of digital assets, development of the digital assets market and distributed ledger technology, work with the International Financial Center “Astana” (IFC “Astana”) on a regional crypto hub, application of blockchain in public services, as well as the implementation of educational projects to improve the financial and technological literacy of citizens.

In addition, MultiBank Group plans to open a regional office in Kazakhstan and create new jobs.

Kazpost will expand cooperation in the field of digital assets and Islamic finance

JSC “Kazpost” signed a memorandum of understanding with Abhibha Technologies Pte. Ltd. The document provides for the development of long-term cooperation in the field of digital assets and related technologies.

The parties plan to study the possibilities of integrating solutions for access to digital assets into the “Kazpost” mobile application, which can expand access of the population of Kazakhstan to relevant services. Partnership models, product implementation mechanisms, legislative requirements, and technical integration issues will also be considered.

In addition, the Eurasian Development Bank and JSC “Kazpost” concluded a memorandum of technical assistance for the implementation of a pilot project of digital consumer financing according to the rules of Islamic finance for the company’s retail clients.

5 universities have united to train personnel according to the “AI+X” model

The Kostanay Regional University named after A. Baitursynov, the Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University, the Kazakh Research University of Artificial Intelligence, the North Kazakhstan University named after Kozabayev, and the East Kazakhstan Technical University named after Serikbayev have united to create the Consortium of Universities implementing educational programs according to the “AI+X” personnel training model.

The initiative is aimed at the development of training of specialists capable of applying artificial intelligence tools in various professional and industry directions.

Narhoz University and CYBERPACK will cooperate in the field of education and technology

NAO “Narhoz University” and LLP “CYBERPACK” concluded a memorandum of cooperation.

The document provides for the development of scientific and technical interaction in the field of education, support for research and project activities of young people, identification and development of talented students, as well as joint organization of educational events.

Astana IT University and SOLANA SUPERTEAM KZ will develop Web3 education

Astana IT University and the Corporate Fund SOLANA SUPERTEAM KZ concluded a memorandum of cooperation in the field of blockchain technologies, Web3, and the Solana ecosystem.

The partnership provides for the development of students’ practical skills, training of personnel for the digital economy, conducting joint educational programs, hackathons, and other initiatives in the field of technology entrepreneurship.

A new data center will appear in Kazakhstan

On October 2, within the framework of AI & Digital Bridge 2026, JSC “Kazakhtelecom”, LLP “KT-TELECOM”, and FireBird AI KZ LTD signed an agreement on the start of construction of a data center. The document is aimed at implementing the project for the construction of a modern data center, developing digital infrastructure, expanding computing power, and creating conditions for the accelerated introduction of artificial intelligence technologies and cloud services in Kazakhstan.

Also, JSC “Kazakhtelecom”, the Public Association “International Society ‘Kazakh Language’”, and FireBird AI KZ LTD concluded a memorandum of cooperation aimed at developing the Kazakh language in the field of artificial intelligence technologies. Its goal is the development and promotion of the Kazakh language in the field of AI, as well as the study and implementation of joint technological initiatives.

Alatau City Authority concluded memorandums with financial and technology companies

The special management organization Alatau City Authority concluded separate memorandums of cooperation with JSC “Kazakhstan Stock Exchange”, LLP “Huawei Technologies Kazakhstan”, Bybit Limited / Bybit Kazakhstan, Binance Kazakhstan, and JSC “Development Bank of Kazakhstan”.

Alatau City Authority is a special management organization of Alatau City, created in accordance with the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On the Special Legal Regime of the City of Alatau” and ensuring the implementation of state policy and the development of the city as a modern economic and investment center of Eurasia.

The agreements are aimed at developing long-term cooperation in the field of digital financial technologies, innovations, and the implementation of promising technological projects in Alatau City.

Kazakhstan and Georgia will expand cooperation in the field of digital government

JSC “National Information Technologies” and the Agency of the Digital Government of Georgia signed a memorandum of understanding in the field of information and communication technologies.

The parties agreed to exchange experience in the field of e-government and digital transformation, implement joint projects, and provide expert and technical support.

QazInnovations and the IT Development Association of Bashkortostan will strengthen cooperation

JSC “National Agency for the Development of Innovations QazInnovations” and the Association for the Development of Information Technologies of the Republic of Bashkortostan signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of innovations, digitalization, technology entrepreneurship, and commercialization of technologies.

The parties intend to conduct joint consultations and meetings, create working groups, exchange information and best practices, and develop joint action plans for the development of innovation ecosystems in Kazakhstan and Bashkortostan.

DOMiNO Ventures and Paidax concluded an investment agreement

DOMiNO Ventures from Uzbekistan and the broker Paidax signed a memorandum of understanding. The document is aimed at developing cooperation between the parties in the investment and technology sectors.

Medhub Health AI Quality concluded agreements in the field of digital healthcare

The non-profit organization Medhub Health AI Quality signed memorandums of understanding with LLP NeuroGuard AI and independent expert in health policy and digital healthcare Mahmoud Adel.

The agreements provide for the development of long-term partnership for the creation of clinical centers ready to conduct clinical trials, attracting international experience in regulating the exchange of medical data, as well as the development of policy and management systems for digital healthcare.
