Who are alem.school and why is their trophy a huge step forward?

On November 16, the first open programming and artificial intelligence championship in Kazakhstan, the Alem Cup (https://cup.alem.school/), will kick off. alem.school is a programming school of a new format. The project was launched in partnership with the European educational platform 01 EduSystem. The essence of the school lies in the absence of classical methods: there are no teachers, no grades, and no lectures. Students learn through active interaction with each other and create their own solutions. The school is open 24/7, and students plan their own schedules and work on self-discipline. Alem creates conditions for students: free education, accommodation, and an environment of talented peers. Now, after a year of successful operations, the Alem school has organized the first open programming championship in Kazakhstan. We previously announced it (https://t.me/thetechkz/966). Briefly: the prize fund exceeds 1.5 million tenge, there are three stages, and it offers the largest opportunity to test your skills. The entire process will take place on the lrn.dev platform. We will cover it, interview participants, and show highlights from the cup. This is an opportunity not just to win a million, but to become the hero of the entire cup. It will definitely not be easier than the well-known "Pool": a month of challenges, three stages, and high competition. The sandbox might seem like an easy level (and wrongly so). Creating a bot that defeats monsters will involve 5 stages. Ranked matches, where the remaining participants will eliminate each other over the course of 10 days. The final, where battles between the "survivors" will intensify with new game conditions. Matches with an active leaderboard, a Discord chat, and highlights. Isn't this a step forward for the entire IT community?
