A free ticket does not mean a free trip

It is important to note that free accreditation usually covers only entry to the event. Travel, accommodation, meals, and visa expenses are most often paid by the participants themselves.

In some cases, additional opportunities can be found: travel grants, scholarships for young professionals, or participant support programs. These are offered by international organizations, foundations, universities, and the conference organizers themselves.
