For investors, founders, and anyone interested in the Central Asian startup scene — here is a quick look at the top news from this week. We have gathered the key updates, from new launches to funding deals and industry moves across the region.
In Astana, a 10G network will be launched with the participation of Huawei and Astana Innovations. On June 16, Kazakhstan’s capital hosted the second China–Central Asia Industrial and Investment Cooperation Forum.
A Kazakh startup made it into the top 15 of the international accelerator Constructor Start in Germany. QazTWIN, a resident of Astana Hub, presented a digital twin platform for industrial facilities.
Aidana Aituarova, CEO of Porte Tech, won the InBattle Pitching Competition held during the INMerge Kazakhstan international innovation summit. Porte Tech is a SaaS solution for the hospitality industry.
Startups Push30 and TASS Vision raised investments at Baku ID. Push30, a platform specializing in digital access to sports infrastructure, closed a $600,000 funding round. TASS Vision, a company that helps major retail chains boost sales, raised $200,000.
SABAH.HUB and Al-Farabi Innovation Hub signed a memorandum of cooperation. The parties agreed to support startups in the MENA region and to develop joint acceleration and training programs.
